Swanage Bowls Outdoor Club
Swanage bowls club was formed in 1928 and is situated in Beach Gardens. The green has 7 available rinks, with one or two of them available for the public. Outdoor bowling is available to club members during the summer months from April to September.
The club has both ladies and men's teams who compete in league competitions. There is also a full program of friendly matches (normally mixed matches) played against touring sides throughout the summer. The club also runs internal club competitions each year for club members. Club nights are held most Friday nights with social theme nights being held approximately every month.
The bowling green is part of a leisure area composing tennis courts, basketball and a putting green.
